2. By Ferry

If you would like to see more of Honduras you can choose to arrive at La Ceiba, sleep and enjoy the city views and the next day taking a ferry.

Galaxy Wave offers two daily departures:

• La Ceiba at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
• Roatan at 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Their schedule is set up to reach other possible connections you might have to other destinations. 

3. By Land – An Adventure before your Wedding

Land transportation is an option too, if you come from Central America you can take a bus from one of the major transportation companies available, arrive at La Ceiba and from there take a ferry to the island, you could also arrive at San Pedro Sula or Tegucigalpa and then take a direct plane to Roatan.
